Long Creek Watershed Management District Board of Directors Meeting, TuesdaySeptember28th9:00 a.m. at Scarborough Town Office, Council Chamber A.  Agenda will be posted at: www.restorelongcreek.org two weeks prior to the meeting.
 
Operation & Maintenance Plans Under Development 
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The CCSWCD has brought on Will Savage, P.E., to assist with the development of O&M Plans for each property owner.  As part of the O&M Plan, maintenance recommendations will be identified and catch basins, stormwater infrastructure and recommended snow storage areas will be mapped. 
 
Property owners can expect to hear from Will within the next month.  O&M Plans are on track to be completed by October. 
 
LCWMD Governing Board Accepting Applications for Finance Committee
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Board is interested in establishing a Finance Committee; the term will extend two years.  The Finance Committee will be chaired by the Treasurer; will meet quarterly and will have a minimum of four members and maximum of six.    
 
Committee appointment process - Interested parties need to submit a letter of interest byFriday, September 10th, that explains who you are, your connection with the Long Creek Watershed, and what experience and expertise you bring.  Applicants will be presented for appointment at the next LCWMD Board meeting on September 28th.
 
General Permit Participation 
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Participation in the General Permit is now at 92.63% of the designated impervious surface in the watershed!
