Pavement Sweeping
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pavement sweeping has begun over the past two weeks.  These efforts will help minimize polluted stormwater runoff in the Long Creek Watershed.  Stormwater Compliance, LLC was hired to sweep the properties in the Long Creek Watershed.  So far, the sweepers have
covered about 75 acres and collected approximately 25 tons of material!
Property owners can expect to hear from Stormwater Compliance, LLC or CCSWCD within the next month regarding catch basin cleaning.
Catch Basin Cleaning
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The catch basin cleaning is expected to start this upcoming Monday.  Accumulated sediment and debris from the the bottom of the basin will be removed and legally disposed of.  Again, this will help minimize polluted stormwater runoff.  Southern Maine Siteworks was brought on to clean the catch basins for each property.

Property owners can expect to hear from Southern Maine Siteworks or CCSWCD within the next month regarding catching basin cleaning.
