Registration fee paid by the LCWMD
To register please call or email Chris Brewer at 892-4700 by November 7th.

Fall Landscape Debris Removal

Talk with your landscape contractor to ensure that no one is dumping landscaping debris near Long Creek!

A number of sites have been discovered where grass clippings, leaves, and other landscaping debris have been piled close to Long Creek. These piles of debris can leach nutrients into Long Creek and make our job of cleaning up Long Creek much more difficult.

Landscaping debris should either be piled away from the stream or taken to a permitted compost facility. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Patrick Marass at Cumberland County SWCD. Pat is available to meet with landowners and landscape contractors to make site specific suggestions.
